As what always comes up with Anker surge protectors, is the fact that they're not UL listed. I looked this one up and it's TUV listed, which is the European equivalent of UL Listed (which is more North America based). They're both considered accepted standards in safety and electrical performance, so while I don't know the exact differences in each certification, seems like TUV is legit.
