I have this projector and it has one major draw back in that it requires you to use the remote included to operate. If you bring it somewhere and forget the remote or lose the remote you are completely SOL. You won't be able to connect. There is no phone app or physical buttons to operate the on screen menu. I 3d printed a remote holder and glued it to the projector so I don't ever forget it again .

It's a dim nightmare. Stick with Nexigo or Happrun.

Why does seem like an absurd price for what it is? Not trying to put this deal down, just wanted to know where the value is here.

It is, been using it all summer to do movies by the pool. It is fantastic, great image quality, apps work well. Auto adjusts keystone and focus. Sound is plenty loud too.

friend got me a Vidda M2 pro. Stop looking at any projector in the US market. Wayyy overpriced.
You mean to tell me your $800 Alibaba Chinese made projector is BETTER than this $240 Chinese made projector? Weird...

depends how big you're stretching it out and the position of the screen relative to the sun. I am using it on a 120" screen, and it is faint but viewable at sunset.

Is it? Have you looked at the prices for other projectors that have auto keystone correction, have a proper built in speaker system, have a built in battery, and include a tv stick? On top of that you don't need to connect an extra USB to power the TV stick.

I don't think I need a single one of those features that you've mentioned -- anyone know a good budget version?

Built in battery and speakers? Auto focus and keystone would be more useful features. The price point for this is more likely around $75.

groview jq818c - it's $140 now but usually falls to around $100. I picked it up for $90 almost 2 years ago. Works great outdoors on the deck at night or in the office during the day with the blinds partially closed. The fan is a little loud, I run an aux cable to a speaker for sound.

Check out Tech Legend on YouTube he does in-depth shootout style reviews for cheap projectors among other things.
