In today's TV landscape, I wouldn't spend this much on the 70 series; especially refurb. I believe this model has good brightness and contrast, but it has no additional backlight control (local dimming or mini-led).

I owned the Q70T 82" (models tend to stay the same-ish) and was completely unsatisfied with dark room performance because of crazy light bleed.

For just gaming, the model series is great. But not this particalr deal and price.

If possible, don't go below the Q80 which has local dimming. Even better is the NEO line that has mini-led.
