Well the four rolls costs $25 eight should technically cost at least double that or possibly a little less putting it close to around $40 maybe, since eight rolls are listed at $20, I can see where the assumption of a price mistake is coming from.
Just trying to do you guys a solid, but if you can't do the math, here is some help.
A 12 pack of the cheapest AMAZON Basic 2 inch tape is $14.86 (B08D4K9DLM)
Oh, and besides, being the more useful 3 inch tape, this tape is also 2.7 Mils thick.
So, yeah, half again cheaper than the cheaper 2" tape and way cheaper than the usual 3" tape price
- my vest is quite tidy.

3 inch tape is not necessarily more useful if you now need to go out and buy a new, nonstandard size tape dispenser.

It is comments like this that make people hesitate to make posts. All you had to do was read the title of the post. It was for 3" tape.
3 inch is a standard too. Don't discourage people from posting, just because you can ferret out a way to crap on a post.
FYI: Just a heads up: all reviews are Vine Reviews (free product reviews) and product is sold AND shipped by independent seller. Latter means if you have a problem -- you may have trouble returning or getting a refund. Not directly covered by Amazon 30 day return policy as it is not shipped by Amazon. (see Third Party Seller Returns.) Or maybe Amazon has changed Third Party Seller Returns Policy from several years ago......???? Any thoughts or recent experience with Third Party Seller Returns ????

No one is discouraging anyone from posting anything. I just want to make it clear to anyone buying this that if you don't have a 3" tape dispenser (which most people don't, as the standard size is not 3" but 1.88") you have to factor in the cost of buying a new tape dispenser.
Standard size is 1.88" (or many companies just round it and call it 2") since that is the majority of tape that is made.

The comments and thumbs down aren't really about the deal per se.
The hate and flurry of thumbs down and comments is more because you called it a "price mistake". Look at the age of accounts that are commenting on this thread. We've all been here long enough where those words used to mean something exciting.
An 8 pack of no name tape at half off doesn't fall into what was once considered a price mistake and you woke them up from their day jobs for nothing.
It was a good deal, but your words brought the wrong crowd.

2. Get return instructions
The seller will provide one of these return methods:
- A return address in the United States
- A prepaid return label
- A full refund without returning the item
