I mean, you do you, but buying something like this which is knowingly an emulation device....the entire use case of it sits on incredibly shaky ground as it is.
Given current global economic tensions, it wouldn't take much more than a nudge for such devices to put a person on the wrong side of the law. Like the fella in Italy. Doesn't matter if the law is "outdated" -- all that matters is that he got a very expensive pair of government steel bracelets out of the ordeal. Go ahead and argue "right and wrong" or "outdated" through the bars. I mean, you might win. It'll be costly. You know what, you go first, set the precedent.
Totally no problem with buying these consoles, everything is fine, this is fine, right? Right. You take the lead.

Look it up on Reddit. There are issues across different models. Point is that it's a gamble and you can try and win it but there's a chance you will lose and have no support.
