The partner program is included with the Hulu perks if you have Hulu

If you are debating between C5 and G4 and price is similar, def go with g4

G4 or even G3 both destroy the C5. G3 has been this same price for a long time

I would wait for Labor Day weekend sales to see, but I would think they def will be back, it was a very popular bundle as it did well judging by all the sold out soundbars

Idk if the G3 "destroys" the C5 - but as someone who owns both, yes I would say the G3 (specifically with MLA) is still the better TV, but only slightly.

It takes a good few years for the C series to catch up to the G. Not to mention G series have 5 year panel warranty. Rule of thumb though is that last year's G series is always a better investment than current year C series, if prices are similar. Always been that way.

How much better is this than the 83" B4 that was on sale at Costco for $1850? Really torn between the two for use in my basement home theater, where light control isn't an issue. Thanks in advance for any useful advice.

so in other words, you agree 😁 I meant to say the G3 destroys the C5 from a cost/value perspective because: 1. the 5 year panel warranty 2. Increased brightness 3. superior build quality 4. same price

FYI, the AUG10 code given by OP isn't limited to the C5. Personally, I'm going to wait until Aug 20th when LG is supposed to release their Labor Day sales, but you can apply the 10% coupon to the B4 at the LG Partner Store bringing the price down to $1620.

The B4 is a serious step downward from the 'C' series, as seen, for instance, in the significant score difference that Consumer Reports gives the two levels of LG TVs. I have a C3 77 inch, and love all of it, except for very dark scenes from DVD grade sources, which can look 'blotchy' - I believe LG has corrected that HDR issue in more recent C series models.
