In this case, the Pelican is superior because it ships in one to two months. IDK about you but I loathe being able to actually own my purchases on any reasonable timeframe.

Literally quality lol I've had apache cases from harbor freight and they are nothing alike. The price difference doesn't justify it but why not if you're protecting something expensive lol This one also has a new type of latch.

What do you typically use these for?

There is a wide range of civilian uses for these types of cases but a common use case is for organizing and protecting a variety of professional photographer's gear or for carrying musical instruments.

Anytime you have sensitive equipment that you need protection such as scientific equipment or military equipment . I used to work with a company that customizes these cases for customers and there are just about a hundred other uses cases out there that the average person doesn't need - things for like the tech industry or in manufacturing equipment to transport sensitive machinery.

I think specifically the "air" series of cases are for traveling - hence why they got wheels that make it easier to take with you in say the airport.

Do you mean that Apache is pretty good for the price, and you're not getting much more by spending a lot more on Pelican?

I'm used to Pelicans for work, and they are really nice. I'm working if you get 90% of Pelican quality for less than 50% the price. And what specifically is better with Pelican.
