When I tried playing on pc with this and the USB dongle, I don't know if it's my setup but I see a notable lag between inputting command and seeing movement on the game. Fortunately my games are not fast paced, most are strategies / turn based, but is still quite painful to use.
Still recommended for switch use though. Much better than the Nintendo controllers and more affordable too.

I don't care for it. Imo takes too much pressure to push down on dpad. I don't use it.
The DPADs on these farkING SUCK!
Normally I prefer the LT/RT "triggers" but for Switch, the games are mostly designed for those to be buttons, so I like "2" controller because it can be either. (2C has buttons only)
I don't know if the D-pad is shit. I don't play many games that require it to be great.

This is a good deal for the Ultimate 1, but I will say that it's worth keeping an eye out for the Ultimate 2 to go on sale because the incremental improvements are worth the extra $. The buttons are better molded and have a snug/responsive feel, the togglable trigger/tactile switches work extremely well on the fly considering there are many Switch titles that don't even register trigger sensitivity, and BT feels noticeably faster to wake and maintains stable connection vs Ultimate 1. I don't have a Switch 2 to know, but the extra button on the Ultimate 2 looks to work for the additional feature on that system, so it'd be a good transition controller between the two systems at this point in time.

I have the Ultimate 2 and from what I've heard in reviews the D-pad is an improvement over the Ultimate, but I think it's rather lacking especially compared to the D-pad on the 8bitdo Pro.
8bitdo's newer controllers support this too: https://www.8bitdo.com/steam/ But not this one. I do think 8bitdo is better because they did contribute code for this compared to Vader 4 Pro that got reverse engineered support, so the newer ones like the Apex 4/5 don't work with this.
