The compact one they have is great though, i use it more often and never have a problem with it. Shame they discontinued it.

They've been making the Ridgid one I have (AC9946) for 13 years and I presume over time they have modified design?

There's also the DWX723, also confusingly called "Heavy Duty Stand," which supports extensions and has a weight limit of 500 lbs. I think it's a bit bigger and supports longer extensions than the 724.
Looking for a multiuse for home improvement.

The only flaw I've found that when leaning it back to roll when collapsed I've accidentally unlocked it a few times making it expand. Probably user error, but I've figured out a way to avoid doing it.
