I got one of these during last years sale. I find it unusable. Always flashes the error lights. I do not use it.

This stopped effectively charging my batteries - I thought the batteries were bad until I started charging with this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014867...tle_4&th=1

I've had one of these for several years, and it has worked well. In fact, I just used it to charge 4 AA's this morning. You do need to put in either 2 or 4 batteries for charging. I don't think it works for 1 or 3. No problem for my normal use since I use 2 batteries at a time.

Seeing the EBL listed above, however, that is what I would buy instead. I like the idea of the batteries being individually charged and to see the charge/recharge status.

So the woot ad description says "Charges each battery individually". I no longer buy AA/AAA chargers that don't charge individually so I was looking for that capability also.

Yeah, all the batteries I try flash error. I had contacted Woot last time, and they refunded me. I actually tried the charge again just recently, but same issue. I guess I should toss it.

the only thing that has me questioning it, is that it says charges each battery individually yet it doubles the charge time when you go from 2 batteries to 4. if they are individually charged shouldn't the charge time stay the same?

The only logic here is that the charger only delivers limited Amperage so when you charge 2 batteries, it gives each battery 1/2 the total Amperage (and so forth) thus doubling the time.

These are great for the price due to the 4 channels. They are sensitive to low charge state. I keep a capable charger for those batteries . Honestly I've had similar error rates across these $4 Basics charger and an older Panasonic. I'm guessing the logic chip is a few years older and more sensitive to low charge state . Only 1/20 attempts show an error

I guess the battery charger i have will charge at the same rate whether i have one battery or 12.

Same experience. I was able to charge batteries on a Panasonic and some Chinese smart charger while this one would error out.
