The ocean?
Real talk though, I've been looking to get into one of Japanese branded fuzzy logic rice cookers, even if it were made in China. Still using my old rice cooker from college.
I bought this (with the student discount). Well worth the money. I used to cook jasmine rice in a regular pot on the stove. And I've also used those cheap $15 Armana brands from target. This is a game changer. Rice and more fragrant and it keeps it warm way better. Also… rice is fluffy and delicious !

fuzzy logic is stupid. the elephants cant beat the tigers in this field.
look at the wattage usage. double of what the tigers can do in half amount if time. including keep warm mode.
After many years of using Zojirushi cookers ourselves (Japanese fuzzy logic and induction models), we bought our son one of these a few years ago, makes great rice.

i wanna hear a rice comparison from a rice cooker to "fuzzy logic" to see if it's BS or not...
What's wrong with this, just because made in China?
Obviously nothing wrong with being made in China, just that this Japanese brand notoriously makes products of varying quality for the Japanese market vs the rest of the world. So you need to not only calculate value for the brand itself, but also which market is was made for, and then where the specific model was manufactured as well.
