It's is pretty good. The biggest downsides I would say are the very reflective screen and the low refresh rate display.

Maybe my unit was defective, but the trackpad had friction and was just missing inputs. You could try 2 finger scrolling for 5 seconds and nothing--then a delayed input would register. The cursor would jump because the track pad would just "forget* where my fingers were. What really killed it for me was the build quality though. When a laptop is non upgradeable except for the SSD, it needs to be able to last. The screen in incredibly flimsy and was already warped out of the box. So much so that you can see the screen lit up when closed from the front. My guess is that it's a cheap plastic frame around the display. The hinge is also stiff and creaky
ive seen other complaints about the build elsewhere. on the other hand the specs are really good so still may be worth it

Lukewarm deal. The 24GB S16 zenbook was on sale at bestbuy w/3k 16" screen.Much better build quality, sound and only 3.2lbs vs 2.8lbsThe S14 was a bit more than this at 900, but somehow felt much nicer the hold and lighter despite being the same weight. Maybe the grips and balance help the portability?
