Runrepeat last reviewed a Triumph "22", these are Triumph Pro Grid "4", so old design. On the Nordstrom site, they describe these as "An '00s heritage runner". There's a market for "heritage" shoes, as fashion, I presume. In the 90s and 2000s, running shoes were OK (as running shoes), but nothing like the shoes of today. For myself, personally, II want the best modern technology has to offer. Modern shoes have much better cushioning due to high heel/forefoot stack heights. Generally speaking, more cushioning material gives you better cushioning.

I had one or two pair of these when they came out, 2007? Mine had gold metallic trim. Good running shoes!
