Once again this game is one of my favorite games in recent years. It takes the best of Mario (Mario odyssey developers behind this game), mixes it with Zelda aspects. Absolute highest recommendation. Read reviews online if you're skeptical

Im playing it right now. Around 8hrs in. Not on par with Mario odyssey, doesnt have the same magic. So far seems good but gets bore searching for millions bananas. Bosses get kill withing 15 seconds. Not saying the game is bad, just not what I expected after all the praise.

Similar review for me. It's fun but everything is much looser feeling than Mario Odyssey, in every regard, control, level design, boss design, everything. Has a lot more copy paste than Odyssey if that makes sense. Kind of feels more quantity over quality than Odyssey. The levels are easy to get disoriented and lost in for some reason I can't put my finger on. The highly destructible environments are fun, and endlessly smashing everything is strangely cathartic. Don't get me wrong, it's great and worth a play for anyone who's recently picked up a Switch 2 and is into platforming games like Mario Odyssey.

Not sure if I can agree, maybe because I'm a fan of DK. I found this more fun than just jumping gameplay in Mario Odyssey. This was a 10/10 for me, while Mario odyssey I am still working myself to finish it.

I love both Mario Odyssey and DK Bananza. They're both great for what they are. Odyssey is incredibly varied with incredible smooth controls and varied playstyles. DK is incredibly cathartic in smashing the entire environment and giving you the freedom to pretty much go anywhere your way. But it's not quite as refined as Odyssey. A definite pick up if you own a Switch 2 especially at this price.
