Poor nutrition content: 8.5% protein, 4.5% fat. About Wild Bird Feeds [wildbirdhabitatstore.com]
First ingredient is "Grain Products" which is likely junk filler seed.

What would you recommend that is affordable then?

I just got into feeding my backyard wildlife, so any input is appreciated.
I bought a feeder that hangs underneath my roofed well. But a neighborhood cat caught on and now hangs out there. I just purchased a solar mountable 4k feeder that I can put on the house to keep the squirrels and cats away and bought a drainable tree mount for the critters.
For the critters, (Squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks) (ground feeder as well), what is a healthy food for them that doesn't break the bank? I first thought Acorns for the Squirrels so they can hide them away for winter (New England), but they cost more than my own food!

Buy 20-40lbs bags of black oil sunflower seeds at walmart. Put it on a shepherds hook pole, feeder, and baffle

For birds, black oil sunflower seed is right on. I would also highly recommend a clean source of water and a de-icer for the winter.

As for squirrels and other critters, unfortunately those are hard to feed healthily on a budget. The list of things not to feed is long (corn, sunflower seeds, peanuts, etc. are not great - Metabolic Bone Disease), and the good list is not cheap - almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, acorns, and pecans (especially in the shell), fresh fruits and vegetables, raisins, etc. They also need lots of water, which, if you can't afford the food, is a cheap way to observe the critters up close.

Sorry I don't have better advice. Best.
