M12 stubby impact 2nd Gen needs 5AH battery to get full advertised 500ft/lbs nut busting torque.
It took my lug nuts and exhaust manifold nuts with ease today. Highly recommended but get the XC 5.0 battery for it

Home Depot keeps moving the price around on their sales. It's almost like they are trying surge pricing on the website. So, if you want this jump on it before it jumps to whatever inflated sale price it will be next. btw It is good. I also have the M18 last gen 3/8 impact and this one is more powerful than that one is.

I just bought the 3/8 it has the same power as the 1/2 inch M12. destroys all my old 3/8 most 1/2 impacts i have at home and at work. crazy power

Excellent deal! I am getting this and returning my Ryobi high torque PBLIW01 purchased earlier this week.

This is my first M12 tool although I have several M18 tools and batteries. I don't think I'll be getting M12 XC 5.0 batteries any time soon. How much power would be lost with 3.0 Ah Battery do you experts think?

I have the older version in 3/8 and a mid torque in 1/2. I'm getting one of these in 1/2 as something in the middle of both.

No battery charger, but you can go on the bay and get them for cheaps. Lotsa folks off loading their chargers they got on combo deals. Alternatively, just search for tool deals with the charger on Homey Depot.

I bought the "tool only" with 2 free batteries for 229 a few days ago to change out my shocks. Can i buy this and return this with the other ones receipt, or is the packaging different between the two?
