I almost exclusively use Elegoo for PLA and PETG at this point. I am kind of a filament snob and have gone through a lot of different brands. From the affordable brands, in my opinion Elegoo is the best of the bunch and a tier above Sunlu. Their silk doesn't go on sale often, so I don't buy it as much as their PLA, but I do have some rolls and it prints nicely. Just make sure to print slower than standard PLA. It's not unique to Elegoo, but all silk pla should be printed slower for optimal print quality.

It is a typo, I just reproduced the deal. 5 rolls of 1kg for 59.99. For me it was 61.57 after tax

Anybody tried Elegoo filament before? I've only tried their PLA+ and had a good experience. Hopefully this silk stuff is good too.

FYI: Could have been 59.99, if you turn off the worry free shipping (for $1.58) they like to drop in there as an add-on.

Nevermind, should read the post... They are.
Are these spools compatible with Bambu AMS?

yep. I go through plenty of them just fine

not directly related to the initial comment. Elegoo is solid, at least this filament line. I do have some minor gripes about the color names like the "Black Red" in the first picture is really Black Pink like it appears, but in general not a big deal since you get what you see.

Good to hear! I was pleasantly surprised with the PLA+ I tried a couple weeks ago and was hoping for a similar experience with these. I especially slow down that outer wall speed (to around 50mm/s) to get a nice shine for other silks.

Thanks! Made an order. I'm fairly new to 3D printing so I'll have to figure out how to adjust speed for outer walls and figure out how to do a second stage changing colors.

Does their rolls work in AMS system?

Same, I've stopped trying new brands and stock up on Elegoo when it's on sale.
