Did you have an Amazon gift card? It didn't work for me. Unless it's only for targeted accounts

FYI: yellow not available. boo.

does "2023 version" mean these were manufactured 2 years ago, or that some aspect of the ball design changed in 2023?

I don't golf...aren't hard balls better for going longer? A soft ball seems like it wouldn't fly?

I'm new to the sport but I'm curious - how long do you have to be playing (or how good do you have to get) before a ball can make a significant difference in your game? At this point, I'm using Kirkland balls from Costco. For this stage, I'm 100% sure the ball would make no difference, but I am curious as to when (or if?) a ball will make a noticeable difference to play.

I'm also a relatively new golfer and can't discern the difference between a "good" ball and a lost scruffy rando ball I found on the course. I think you can probably tell a difference once you can strike the ball consistently (which I can't).

Same thing with clubs - I'm still playing with a $300 set from a local big box sporting goods store. Until I can start hitting consistently, I don't know how I can gauge whether better balls/clubs will make any difference.

With that said, I'm playing 9 holes with the Supersoft Max (ordered because of this deal) tomorrow morning. If I can actually not lose most of them, I'll update this thread. I typically play TaylorMade Distance+ and Kirklands. The cheaper the better. I'm not sure my game will ever be good enough to justify playing $5 balls.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it matters until you're shooting in the 80s or better, shaping your shots on purpose, and spinning the ball on the green. Soft balls are maybe slightly more forgiving for beginners. I'm a high handicap and prefer soft balls.
