Your logic is spot on. This is a sucker purchase and should be $700 or $800 less.
This is a top notch computer, but not a deal, let alone a slick deal.

The pictures don't show a 5090 GPU so just beware of that

Wood is making a comeback, thank you Fractal Design North. I rather like it, better than all the RGB things from just a few years ago.

I'm holding out for a Corinthian leather trimmed case... oh nevermind, "You can only get it in the Chrysler Cordoba" - Ricardo Montaban.

5090s are available on eBay for $2000-$2200 all day. So are all the other components worth $1800-$2000? I genuinely don't know, but my guess would be no.

Just curious, serious question. Who is buying these top of the line pcs/gpus? Is it gamers who want to flex they can play the latest games on highest graphics? I'm lucky i play dota 2 and street fighter, which run fine on a 3060ti and old i7-4770.

Maybe it's the rich people who just always buy the best of everything?!

Very popular with people burning down their houses for insurance. Blame 5090's 12vhpr connector..

100% of 5090s will end up with burned out connectors. It's guaranteed by the design flaw.

5090s are very fast lemons.

5090s have come down in price now and you can get them close to MSRP.

This isn't a good deal at all. There's at least a $500 markup compared to buying the components separately, even assuming you pay above MSRP for the 5090.
