You are joking right? Apple is the gold standard in customer/software support. Samsung is one of the worst.

Why would anyone (that could think) pay 1k for a phone with only 256 gb storage?

Until iPhone comes up with a flip phone format then there is a reason for people to opt for the Motorola phones.

You do know that SD card slots and 3.5 mm audio jacks have been gone from phones for a couple of years now. Bluetooth earbuds are just so much better without the wired mess. Taking shots at Motorola for not having a SD card slot and 3.5 mm audio when you can't find mainstream smartphones that still have those features is silly.

This deal isn't trying to win over converts. This is helpful for someone looking specifically for this phone or at least a flip type phone. Though in a monetary sense you are correct in that Motos have little resale value down the line. How much it is 'worth' is relative. If you want or need a flip style phone, this is 'worth' much more than any slab phone, iPhone included.

Only if you keep updating them. Keep them on launch firmware and it'll run fine for years. I got a Moto Edge+ 2022 and it's still running fine.

So I got the regular 2025 Razr in the TW deal with 3 months service for $165. That's about all I would spend on a Razr. Not because of low resale value. Not because of limited software updates. Not because iPhones are better.
It's simply because folding phones break. And they break at an alarming rate. Check any Reddit thread on Razr or Z flip or Pixel fold.
