I picked one up last week, they definitely work at cutting down smoke, and cook marshmallows more evenly than a regular fire, probably because the hot air circulation. Mine was kind of out of round, but it serves the purpose for something I use a couple times per year.

I bought this for $75 last week when I saw the post. This is even better, I wonder if I should return and buy.

I wonder if the solo bonfire 2.0 pellet adapter works for this.

You don't need a pellet adapter in the Bonfire. I just put a piece of cardboard down and put pellets on top.

The Solo Stove brand has a metal adapter that goes into the bottom of their stoves and allows you to use wood pellets instead of logs. They burn hotter with less smoke.

You don't need an adapter, just put a piece of cardboard in the bottom of the fire pit, then pour wood stove pellets on top of the carboard and light it.

Does the body of the fire pit become very hot? Also, can it be placed on concrete slabs without causing damage or discoloration?
