Funny thing is PayPal checkout on Target has never worked for me for whatever reason (works everywhere else). Hope they fixed it for this promo

I had that issue for 1 year. Tried PP support, they couldn't understand what I was saying even after escalating. But 1 month ago it was fixed.

If you use redcard (target) you get 5% off everything already, what is the advantage of using paypal?
To get a measly 1-3% more using a cc thru paypal just not worth the hassle

Let's see if this goes like the last 3 Paypal promos have gone where I follow the redemption instructions perfectly and get nothing and have to spend 6-8 weeks arguing with support to finally get them to recognize it... Highly recommend yall take pictures of any of the offer details etc. in case you have to prove to PP support that you actually had the offer... All 3 times they tried to say that I failed to redeem it and so didn't qualify for the payout, but in all 3 cases the offer had expired and so I had no proof of its existence other than the slickdeals thread and knowing I redeemed it... Stubbornness and escalating to a manager are the only things that won out in the end all 3 times.

SHOULD is the key word here. My points from the Western Digital promo are still "Pending" one month later. Last time I use PayPal for any cash back offer.

I heard Target is categorized as "grocery" when you use PayPal debit card, so if you already chose "grocery" category as this month's 5% cashback for PayPal debit card and pay with PayPal checkout at Target online with PayPal debit card, you will get total of 10% cashback through Paypal?

I am new to PayPal debit card and chose "clothes" category for 5% cashback this month before knowing some non-grocery stores actually are categorized as "grocery" for PayPal debit card.
