I got this last time, a couple things I don't love. the angle on them is a bit high for me, aimed at my face when on the desk. I prefer it aimed at my chest, so have to prop the back up. also, controls in the back are kinda annoying, otherwise good fan.

Bought this the last it was $10 and it's a pretty good fan typical of Vornado and that doesn't clog up.

I got two of these last time at $10, like maybe at the start of summer, and they've been in use since. Unique design and I actually like them. One is on the kitchen counter and hides away nicely and slides to the foreground when in use. The other is on my night stand and I use it to blow air across the top of the bed at night. On medium, you can barely hear it, and even high isn't very noticeable and moves a lot of air. Wondering if I can use another one or two.

Got 2. The last deal on the USB tower fans were okay but they make a wine sound after being on 24/7. Will try this to cool network equipment instead. Mainly my old firetv recast.

HIGHLY recommend giving SideDeal a throwaway/spam email. They will sign you up for at least a dozen email lists and the unsubscribe button does nothing.

edit: The fan is great tho. Very quiet at low speed and looks nice.

I recently did a search on side deal before placing my order and confirmed they're legitimate. From the day I ordered, it took about two weeks for delivery, and I almost forgot about it in the meantime. I used a virtual card for added peace of mind.

Thanks! I always have to have a fan on, and desk fans have been the worst for me with gunk causing dust eventually slowing the down the blades and eventually stopping.

I wonder what delusions are having them believe that the Sharper Image name adds any value to the product. I'd probably be willing to pay an extra dollar or two had there been no Sharper Image branding at all.

II paid $10 for this earlier this year. It's with the asking price right now. I do find myself using the three speed settings. The highest moved air pretty well, but is kind of noisy. The lowest setting is a nice mellow breeze, almost inaudible. It looks unique, so it's not as visually obtrusive as a typical desktop fan can be.

The one very annoying thing about this fan is the fixed angle the fan sits at. You'll need to be sitting somewhat above it to take full advantage of the airflow… or you can stack it on a couple sets of post-its to level it out, like I do.
