No hate here, just so your educated. Hazet is a premium German special tool maker and has been around since 1868. They are OE tool supplier for most all the German Automotive brands (VWAG, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, others) and are widely regarded in the tool world as top shelf. While they may not offer cutting edge tools with the latest and greatest tech, they do offer amazing quality, fit and finish, reliability and durability unmatched by 95% of other tool brands. I've been using Hazet, Wera and Knipex (all German tool Companies) for many years in a professional setting (A&P) and the only thing that really compares are the Japanese brands such as Koken, KTC, NePros, Vessel, Fujiya, SunFlag and Tsunoda. Again, no hate, just an FYI.

I also use all those brands but you're kidding yourself if you don't think SnapOn makes a better ratchet than all of them.

I have 10 years worth of SO. They are equal to many of the brands I've already stated. After using Koken for about the same period of time, Koken is better for me and the same goes for socket quality, broaching and fitmet. Maybe you'll feel different.

snap-on is very high quality, and for many, tool truck access is paramount, but for the price, there are so many better brands out there. the other guy listed a bunch of them

snap-on has great branding, though, and a lot of people fall for it, thinking that no one else makes extremely good tools, which is just plain, embarrassingly false
