slow UI but can be fixed with a little bit of effort and makes a major improvement on how the tablet feels

it gets slower over time. Not worth anything over $100

I tried that, apparently you can either get the $60 off without trade-in, or $75 off with trade-in, both subtracted from original price, so technically your trade-in will only add $15 to the original discount. couldnt get them to stack. if anyone had better luck that would be great.

How can it be fixed? Can you elaborate? Thanks!

In Costco it's 159 with book cover, probably there might be price drop in future in Costco. So I don't think it's a great deal for epp

Ok the tablet is very slow out of the box. Yes you can turn off animations by settings-accessibility-reduce animations. But there is one trick that makes this into a fully functional regular tablet.
Go to settings-device care-memory and Turn Off Ram Plus.

I got the 8gb/128gb for $131 awhile back and regret it

It's not the slowest tablet on the market but it feels sluggish while navigating and during normal use

Battery life is pretty mediocre and it takes forever to charge due to being limited to 15w

I got an iPad at the same time, at almost double the cost, and it was worth the additional cost just due to better battery life and how much smoother it is overall

Unless you are only doing very basic things, I'd go with the fe level samsung tab or higher
