I've had the opposite experience. I loved my four pack and hub so much that I bought another four to connect to the original hub. No connection issues whatsoever. And the battery life is amazing on the detectors.

I want to like these. I bought a four pack a while back and the hub constantly disconnects and flashes until it eventually reconnects on its own. I don't know if the sensors are working.

I've had the opposite experience. I loved my four pack and hub so much that I bought another four to connect to the original hub. No connection issues whatsoever. And the battery life is amazing on the detectors.

Get your hub closer to the router. Had an issue the first couple weeks. Moved Mines fairly close to the router and never have an issue now.

Think I have 8 of these and the hub, 1st gen. Batteries last around a year, give or take (and depending on your batteries). I am pleased with their performance so far. I am thinking about upgrading to 2nd gen

Do you get an alert on your phone when the Govee app is closed? I have a bunch of Govee thermometers and their alarms will only go off when the app is running. That's pretty pointless to me. But if an alert would get pushed to my phone, that would make it worthwhile.

Just bought a 3 pack the other day for $38.49. Return and rebuy is a no brainer at this price.

I'm using them near my aquarium for leak detection. It's one of those things you hope you never need and therefore hope it still works when you do.

yes it blows up my phone if any of them detect water. Try going into app setting on your phone system menu and look for an option about unrestricted battery usage

I have 18 of the previous model H5058 deployed throughout the house. All connected easily and seem to function perfectly. Had a few alert when water got in close proximity to them. The gateway model H5043 is about 15' from the router. No random drop outs. Satisfied with the Govee app. I'm a Govee fan so far.
