I got one of the $1300 ones on clearance at Sam's and it is fantastic. I guess if the power unit fails I have the Sams warranty and the extended warranty. Costco returns are great but honestly I don't think that Sam's is any inferior for returns. As to finding help? Well that's another story.

Funny I read this, after having mine for 2 months it stopped working. The tech will be out to see whats going on on Monday. Could that be it? Amazing TV though....

I just used this deal via EPP with Trade In, got an additional 10% off pop up code by signing up for text messages, chatted with online support and they gave me free 2 Year Care+. $1498.49 plus tax.

FYI, the pop up code comes up at the bottom of the screen periodically, I've typically seen it once a day while browsing the site often.

One comment is all it takes to confirm your concerns? You know I went to Best Buy a few months back and mentioned the B series TVs to the sales rep at the store. The sales rep said to avoid the B series, terrible panel issues. Yet some folks on here have made positive comments about the B series LG TVs. I think some people just look for reasons to confirm their bias. Some folks look for a reason to buy something and thus look for positive comments, other do the exact opposite. Confirmation bias seems to drive a lot of decisions.
