It's... okay. It'll be fine for light use, right now I'm using it for hanging tools like a few drills and a sawzall. I wouldn't believe the 300lb claim - the shelves have hinges in the middle that definitely feel like a weak point, but it's fine for sticking tool batteries and stuff like drill bit sets on. 300lb might be what they tested the brackets that screw into the wall to before they pulled out, but I'd be surprised if the shelves would support anywhere near that
