I have this fridge, the instaview is gimmicky. yes it works but you will not use it after the first week or so. also it is glass so you cannot plat fridge magnets or anything unless it is taped

I think certain versions of the LG fridges the Instaview glasses actually open and you can grab drinks/condiments easily. Apart from those versions I would say very gimmicky

I have the Samsung version. I 100% agree and frankly if it wasn't on sale I wouldn't have gotten the tablet version as....it holds no value. Hooray, I can look inside my fridge. My kid can draw on it. I have a browser. That's the gist of it.

With that stated....assuming it's the same 27CU sizing as my Samsung, that additional space is WELL worth it
