This is the older style that's harder to set up, IMO. I'm not an expert, but getting these apart later is a pain.

don't matter, it's cheap... and most of these type u buy from home depot breaks apart anyways when u try to move them around

How is the new style different? I've been using this type for a few years and just keep it together and put it out each spring - minor repairs here and there for leaks etc.

Yes. I prefer the newer style too. Newer style is much less effort to connect or disconnect the nozzles.

Typically this would also require a pressure regulator of 20-25 psi but there is no mention of it. Buy a sumi soaker or senninger wobblers. They are much easier to set up, operate, dismantle and won't clog.

Ya. I bought a set for $30 and there's too much water coming out of the front but the tail end has no water. Doesn't quite work.

I bought something like this, the main hose kept braking made me so mad! However I bought a nicer main hose from Lowes or Homedepot and no problems since! So if a piece goes bad go to your local hardware store. They have pieces that make a big difference
