FYI - I got the "Smith Optics x The North Face Limited Edition Embark Polarized ChromaPop Square Sport" for $52 from another SD posted here back in May and I love them. I really only wear them for sports activities (mostly running) and the only complaint I have is that I feel like I might break them when trying to remove the side shields because they're a bit tough to pop out of the frame.

Just wrapping up a week cruising off the coast of Maine. These are the best ocean-going sunglasses I've had among many pairs. Yes they look a little dumb. No I don't care at all.

The green tint lenses are the best out of the 4 Chromapops I've tried. The colors are vivid and the contrast is increased. Think of it as seeing the world through the Samsung Galaxy vivid screen profile.

I've bought from them multiple times and all was good. For my last EyeDictive order, I actually contacted Smith with pictures and they confirmed the glasses are legit.

Edit: Be aware though that EyeDictive charges return shipping of about $5. I had to return glasses that were too small, so pay attention to the measurements. Embarks are average to large frame. Not overly large, but on the slightly larger side.

Big fan of this model. Have a pair and I just take the side panels off and they look like regular shades. Smith makes very good underrated sunglasses, their chromapop lenses are some of the best around.Would jump on these at this price.

I've bought a few pairs of Smith sunglasses and haven't had any issues as far as getting fakes. You just never know buying online. If people are concerned about fakes then go to Sunglasses Hut or the makers website and pay the full price for peace of mind.

You could - but I wouldn't recommend it as the fit probably won't be optimal (you could maybe remedy this with a strap/retainer), you'd risk scratching and beating up the premium lenses, and you'd also look silly IMO.
