"Wired" meaning mains powered, not PoE. This is a WiFi device.

the biggest selling point of this camera is the ai search function. it works similar to ubiquiti unifi where you can start searching your clips for phrases like "woman wearing a red dress" and it can populate all the matching results. not exactly useful for me but for heavy traffic areas, it could be a quality of life upgrade.

In general how does Eufy compare with Reolink… as far as NVR systems. I know Eufy released the S4 Max recently.

I've been all in on Reolink for almost three years now, once I got the rich push notifications working via email/PushOver app and a third party email service that's like $36/36mo, I eliminated my Eufy cameras all together.

you can call reolink and have them manually push the update. just be sure to explain that you want that ai search function. i had them manually push an update for my altas pt ultra.

Yeah, I've been waiting for them to push out a FW update to another beta test camera I have right now lol.

You always have to reach out to them for FWs for battery powered cameras, or occasionally you can get them to auto update via the Windows/Mac client.

I've had eufy for the last three years. It's absolute garbage.

Can't speak for Reolink.

"Were you listening to me, Neo, or were you looking at the woman in the red dress?"

If you don't mind sharing, what kind of 3rd party e-mail notifications do you use for $36/36 months and what is the benefit to that? I'm not trying to be a smartass. Just trying to see the options out there since I am about to set up my reolink system.
