The video quality is awesome. The app is a little clunky (like when I am setting up the motion zones, if it detects motion it automatically switches to the 3x zoom and it keeps the "area" I was "drawing" the same size, and you can't set the zone properly).
For "person identification" you need a HomeBase 380. I have known "faces" in there, and I have it set to not send notifications for "known" people, yet it still sends them. I think this is because it's "processing" who it is. As it later in the events page shows that it identified the person correctly.
I've read the S4 MAX NVR cameras are significantly better (but also significantly more money). I am planning switching to that, but will grab this so I can set a camera further away.
