Thanks for posting, pretty slick.

Wish it was $400-$500 off the normal TK710.

Yeah I just replaced our projector with a large OLED TV that does 4k@120. It will out perform any projector at its price point. I'm willing to bet the blacks on an OLED are actually better than any projector.

Are there better alternatives just for media?

it's a different use case and situation.

I have a 77" LG C9 OLED and yes the OLED is better but in the basement I also have a Otoma UHZ50. and get a 100-105" screen against the wall. there is limited space there for a large screen tv.

that looks great for movies and also my retrogames.

IF you do get a project
I recommend this for $16

you can paint a 100-105" screen area two layer. and this looks very good with a projector.

How is the space limited for a TV but the 100-105" screen fits?

I have a 120" retractable screen in my basement and a 4k projector, it's actually mounted to the ceiling, and stays up except when I'm using it. It's not on a wall. It's actually in the middle of my basement, I have just such a scenario, however… since I got my 98" TCL QM7K installed in the living room, I haven't even touched the projector, will probably sell it.

Gotcha. Yeah I could see that making sense. I was thinking of against the wall.
