Exactly. How is this a slick deal?! It's standard price at Target and any big box store.

Microfiber is just plastic. They are soft, but you will sweat like a pig.

I get that microfiber isn't for everyone, but honestly these are perfect as a backup set or for a guest room. We've had a couple sets like this for years and they've held up better than I expected. For $15 shipped, I don't mind grabbing an extra set since they wash easy and dry quick.

Yes, but these are good. I only switched to these because they are surprisingly soft and the dog sheds so you can wash these every day and dry them in half an hour.

Microfiber is almost always "Soft" but what you learn with experience is softness is not the most important feature in sheets. Breathability, durability, anti-pilling and weight are what make a quality set of sheets. I used to use microfiber sheets when I was younger and had less budget for sheets and thought I'd never spend more on sheets but once or twice a year there's a very good deal on 100% cotton sheets here and I recommend getting some to anyone that has never had a set. Percale weave if you need advice on that, but sateen is OK too.
