I bought a Osaki Cyber 3D chair few years ago. After one year, the cheap "leather" started flaking everywhere, making a mess. Will never trust this company again

This is something you get a Costco membership for. Their return policy is worth the price if this thing fails in a few years.

Thanks, what are the differences between them? Worth it for the extra 400?

Looks like the Pinacle is 2D. This one in this post is a 3D. 2D technology is pretty old. I'm no expert. I've been wanting to buy a massage chair.

I can't imagine this thing uses more power than a TV. You won't notice any difference

To anyone thinking about something like this... please do your research on models as you definitely get what you pay for.

A massage chair in this price range isn't going to be great, the number of rollers, the padding, etc is going to make the actual massage a bit "meh".

I have one that I paid closer to $5000 for and it actually gives a really good massage. Air compression on forearms, shoulders, hips, and calves as well as rollers that go from just above the butt up to the neck. Heat, 4D, airbag intensity, roller intensity.

Yes it is expensive but a model like the one advertised is probably going to give you closer to a massage like the things you pay $5 for for 5 minutes at the mall.

Just another piece of data for folks to consider:Back in 2019 I bought a Kahuna (had never heard of them before) LM6800S from Amazon for $1765 after tax (about $2220 in today's dollars). We've moved it from apartment to house, and it's still going strong. Is it as good as a real human massage? Not even close. Does it feel great after a long day? Absolutely. And it digs into your back muscles, which is exactly what I wanted. We've probably used it 250 times over the years, and given the cost of real massages, I'd say it's paid for itself at least once over, and probably closer to 10x. I'd be hard-pressed to believe you could get twice as good a massage from a chair that was twice the price, so there's diminishing returns. I personally think the $1800-2500 range is the sweet spot for most people.
