Why is this even a deal? It should cost less than $20...

Ps. Is this bag tiny or is that woman a giant?

This bag is too small, even for my cat! And $40 at that! The audacity!

Serious question here, I'm seeing more and more man use stuff like this, especially the one that looks like a cross body strap like fanny pack but across your chest, what's the appeal? You guys don't have pockets, or is it for people when they jog, why do you need to carry stuff when you jog, doesn't it make it less comfortable? I would love to understand the use cases. It's not a race thing but I never saw non Asians in my area use those, maybe it's an Asian thing? Maybe helps prevent pick pockets?

Serious response. Get over yourself. The appeal is, it appeals to them.
  1. Other reasons is, not many people are into cargo pants.
  2. With all the things people have to carry like cellphones, lip balm, keys etc why stuffed your pockets. Full of shit? I can carry my stuff
  3. You made a race thing. Go out more you will see more than Asians wearing it.
  4. You need to get over yourself.
  5. Fashion evolves and now it is popular, grandpa.
  6. Why do you care?

True thatโ€ฆ I would have laughed at this myself a few years ago (when I was into cargo) now carrying 2 cellphones (personal and office) 2 AirPods and car keys! Plenty for the pockets

It's been a European thing for quite some time and they've had it right. Here's the lowdown. Men got shit to carry too and at some point you just gotta be honest with yourself and admit that having even the basics (Wallet, phone, keychain with a big fob and multiple keys) in your pockets weighing down your bottoms and is uncomfortable AF driving, sitting, and walking around when you've gotta be out all day or going out for the night. If it's winter time a regular jacket with pockets can handle everything. But in the summer time, where are you going to put all of that? Now what if you also have a pack of smokes and a lighter you want to bring for the night out? What if you're going out of town for the whole day and want to have a charged phone to take photos of your wife and kids so you gotta bring a battery to keep your phone juiced? Whatever you need, this keeps it all nicely on your chest where you can keep track of it.

What a condescending answer. Not appreciated.

Hmm, some valid use cases listed here but seriously comparison to European is kinda out of date. Think about it. Those Europeans, including the small satchel type ones with straps thst were super popular in 80s and 90s were because people HAD to carry bjch of crap like planners, check books, contact books, huge wallets, bunch of keys, etc.. Half of these, if not most, are obselete now. I don't remember the last time I opened my house door, got into my car or started the car, walked to my office with a physical key. Wallet, honestly it's a US thing, majority of Europe is completely cashless now. You don't even need a card, just your phone unlike USA still clinging to the ancient where some stores won't take contact less especially some Gas stations, so people have to carry cards. There is also big cash culture in USA, how will all those cash working people will pay otherwise which is less common in Europe. I guess cigerattes are one way maybe if you carry around lipgloss or hand sanitizer etc.
