Are these really good enough compared to Apple Watches? Would love to be able to save money if these do the job and have better battery life -- but not sure howe to trust the reviews...

I have had the bip 3 urban edition for over a year now and can vouch for these on attributes like good battery life (looking at 2 to 3 days backup with moderate use), considering the price - good on tracking and detecting activities and well built.

But I don't think it is fair to compare these with apple watches costing 5+ times more. For what I needed, these do get the job done and a 'value for money' purchase at these prices. YMMV

I bought a bip 3 from Walmart for $20, I'd say it's inaccurate with steps and slow to update. is it worth upgrading to bip 6?

This is a 5x-10x battery longer, but 2x-4x sensor precision is less. Sure far less costly. So choose what is important for you

I got the Galaxy 5 Pro for $60, has most heart monitors, 4lte, GPS. Got $250 trade-in value for the Ultra with $100 credit and military discount. Also got the galaxy buds3 pro for $13 included. I never do Apple, sorry.

They are good for notifications, but their sensors have shown to be mediocre and so don't expect accurate sleep, HR, tracking, etc.

Been using this for months. I never get battery anxiety. I just charge it for a few minutes while in the restroom and I'm good for another few days! It's very lightweight compared to the Apple Watch. The software is solid too! I use it for heart rate, sleep, timer, get up reminder, hang up phone calls, and stopwatch.

You guys are close to convincing me -- but how about integration with Apple's Activity Rings/Circles? I've been tracking my activity with those damn rings for a couple years now... if I use this will it integrate with the rings? Or do I have to start my health journey tracking all over?

Have to include how much you paid for your ultra originally

I had an earlier version and while the extended battery life is a big plus, I had problems with constant disconnects whether I used the Bip with an iPhone or an Android phone. It just seemed like I was constantly reconnecting or often having to reset the watch. I went on to a Garmin Vivoactive 3 music which was more expensive but also had a good battery and stayed connected.

It will carry over steps, but mine (5) doesn't appear to carry over distance or much else. Caloric count also seems to vary quite a bit between my iPhone and my watch. Also, no stairs counting on my watch to carry over to the activity ring.
