Anyone have this particular light? This definitely beats your standard light bulb in terms of brightness but what about reliability and longevity

It is going to be hard to find someone to have experience with the same exact generic. I have something like this style, bulb socket with leaves to fold out, been working well for around a year or so. Have one in my parents garage and mine, both no issues so far.

Sansi has great grow lights with a warranty. They look like the same bulbs, I'd imagine they're pretty solid price performance per watt

Lights like these are terrible for using in garages because for them to be bright enough to illuminate a space means that if it's in the center of a garage and you are accessing a workbench or shelving or stuff traditionally placed along the walls of the garage, you will always be working in your shadow, and the brighter the light from a singular point like this fixture the greater the contrast of shadow to illuminated area.I tried working with something like this before and quickly became frustrated by not having any usable light, much less being peripherally blinded by the light fixture when looking towards the center of the garage space. 4 foot light fixtures give a wider breadth of light source, so the issues of shadows is diminished because you will normally have 1 to 2 feet of the light source illuminating past you on to what your working on against a wall.Lowes has a lightbulb socket 4 foot led folding light fixture by Utilitech that is a wayyyy better option for someone not wanting to deal with wiring or mounting screws for a garage light. And given you have 4 feet of LEDs the actual lumens of output are greater without the need to have the light operating at high temps with less LEDs at greater output so longer bulb life too.5000k light color is also not my preferred choice for shop use, 4000k is the sweet spot as most 4000k fixtures have a mix of 3000k and 5000k LEDs for better yellow and white light mix. Plus, your eyes can see more color detail with the broader light color output which can be crucial if you're trying to chase an electrical issue in a car and have to figure out what color wires you're looking at in a dirty engine bay.

Have a 6,000 lumen light from ge and it's high up in the garage about 20ft and it turns into about a 1500lumen equivalent.

This won't even make it. Best to use any bunch of 1500 lumen bulbs hung low and spread around.
