I bought one of these last year for $400. Even with it's algorithms I already have some burn in. Have yet to see how the warranty will go. They always try to find a way out of it. Good picture it was good up til then. Bright enough for HDR

What were you doing that you have image retention issues already? I got this monitor last year and haven't had any issues. I use it daily.

PC, but I mostly use it for certain games that run smoother on Xbox. It almost looks like gears of war maybe because it looks like a skull kinda. Idk, looked up the warranty is 3 yrs

If you do proceed with the warranty, please let us know how it goes.

This. Other than enabling dark mode and avoiding excessive amounts of static content I just use it as a normal monitor and no burn-in since I bought it Black Friday. I even turned off all the OLED nanny crap in the OSD. It does an auto pixel refresh each night after I shut down my computer and that seems to be sufficient.
There is some OLED flicker when framerates fluctuate wildly (mostly game loading screens). The HDR 1000 mode is garbage with panel dimming; keep it on HDR 400 TrueBlack. Neither is a big deal at this price point.
Bought this the last time it was on sale, it's been months and no issues and I use it for 6+ hours a day with my PC. I do let it do pixel refresh and pixel shifting almost everytime it asks me so probably about 2-3 times a day and haven't had any issues with burn in or dead pixels. It uses the same samsung oled panel as many other monitors that are above this price range, all in all a pretty great OLED high refresh rate monitor and I play a variety of games from modded skyrim to helldivers 2 to fps games like delta force or recently the bf6 beta.

According to Rtings review, there was a software update that fixed some issues:
