Great tool for gunsmithing but it goes on sale for this price quite often.

This thing is basically a necessity for installing stuff on your gun correctly, especially scope/optic mounts. Frankly, just in general, knowing how much torque you're putting into a screw is a game changer in terms of consistency.

I love mine I might need to buy another because somehow I lost it when I was using it to torque wire lugs to spec when I was wiring my garage..Kinda hilarious because it's somewhat big and has a bright yellow stripe on it.

Perfect timing, I have an EPS Carry I need to mount and not snap the cheap screws.

I have a habit of taking things just "one more turn" to the point where it strips out. I picked up one of these a couple of years ago and it has saved me so much grief.

Thanks, OP, in for one! Better to have one of these than settle for "hand tight" or snapping a screw off.

Nice price! I use mine regularly. Perfect for hitting spec on optic screws or similar.

Best option for the price? My concern is ordering a no name brand for something as important as a torque wrench.

For firearms specifically its probably going to be Wheeler, but honestly I went with a cheaper no name on amazon because the torque specs are just to make sure whatever you're torqueing doesn't move but also doesn't strip, and imo the difference between say 15 inch lbs and 20inch lbs is negligible

Electrician here - I religiously use this for panel screws to torque to proper specs, and Alumiconns when I'm doing aluminum to copper connections.
