- This laptop is supported for an automatic upgrade to Windows 11.
- RAM and the Wi-Fi adapter are soldered. The M.2 SSD can be upgraded.
- Skip the 8GB model unless you have a very specific (potentially non-Windows?) application for which this will remain sufficient.
- Don't worry about the CPU model.
- The i5- and i7-branded 11th generation G-series mobile CPUs model performance differences are marginal to non-existent to negative depending upon your application.
- The carbon fiber lid is scratch prone.
- The 7420 has a USB-C port on both sides.

As an aside, it's a shame that newer Intel microarchitectures (Meteor Lake, Arrow Lake) have nerfed the graphics performance of "U-class" processors, which now have half the graphics cores of "H-class".
