Important details missing:
- This is a VA panel
- This supports FreeSync Premium
- 2x HDMI 1.4 ports (supports up to 144 hz at 1080p)
- 1x DisplayPort 1.2 (You should be using this for FreeSync and to take advantage of the full 165 hz refresh rate)

VA has good black levels, but tends to have slower pixel response times than TN or higher end IPS panels. Not a bad price though. FreeSync support is also a plus.

Lower resolution @ 1080p has its advantages with older games IMHO. While you can scale down the resolution for higher resolution mointors, you can end up with fuzzy bilinear filtering that makes things less sharp than 1080p. Also, lower resolution makes it easier to get high FPS on a budget. Not a bad choice if you're trying to game on a budget or you want a gaming display for a laptop or a budget gaming rig.
