This Newegg discount used to be run about once a month, but the last time this discount was available was just ten days ago, on 8/8/25, and then a couple weeks before then in July, so these deals are getting a lot more frequent.

Let it expire (make sure recurring billing is turned off), stack three years of Core, then convert the Core to Ultimate either by signing up or redeeming a one-month code for Ultimate. You'll lose about 33% of the time you were eligible for if you redeem a Core code while you have Ultimate active instead of letting Ultimate expire, then starting over with Core. Converting from Core to Ultimate will convert the Core to Ultimate at a rate of 2 months Core to 1 month Ultimate. Stacking Core on top of an active Ultimate subscription will result in 3 months Core converting to 1 month Ultimate.

Sam's Club should still have this for ~$53. I used a burner email to sign up for a free trial, ordered and cancelled without an issue.

Sam's does limit you to only two Core codes per membership per year, but if burner emails and free trials are a thing at Sam's (I'm not familiar with either), then that shouldn't be a problem.

if youre converting to gamepass ultimate it'll be only 6 months. in 2022 I was able to stack 3 month codes from cdkeys for 3 yrs when they had 1:1 conversion for around $50. Also was good deal because they gave away free monthly games which they eventually discontinued. But yeah if you have no intention to buy games and use gamepass ultimate consistently this is the only remaining budget option left.
