Any personal experience with this particular filament? I'm happy with jayo pla, but Amazon has very mixed reviews on this matte PETG. https://a.co/d/aX9WvOP

Its good as long as you dial in the profile. At first I was lazy and used a generic PETG-HF profile and it wasn't that good. I finally dialed in the specs on the spool and it prints perfectly now. My go to material now since it combines the durability/heat resistentence of a PETG and close to printing speed of PLA

Are there any other good deals on PETG going with filament that everyone likes? I really don't need anymore until I use up what I've got, but you know - FOMO

Jayo is the same as Sunlu brand stuff. I have very good experience with Sunlu's petg and pla+. PETG likes the lower end of the temperature. Using it on an Bambu A1

I love Sunlu. However the checkout seems very wonky, it keeps saying items are out of stock, but its not showing me which ones on refresh. Have tried multiple variations and its not letting me.

I just tested a few different options and it was still working for me.
A couple things to try; make sure you are logged in and only have one of the selections in cart... It's limited to one per customer per the product page.

I believe the coupon is reusable and the $3.xx shipping charge is per item and not per order, so if you want you should be able to just place a 2nd order, but I haven't tested it.

I just bought two separate orders and the coupon worked both times. Repped!

What printer? I assume Bambu? Would be interested to see your settings. I have a P1S and it's "good enough" but really would like to try get it to look better especially all the zits I get even with a ton of drying.

Out of the three negative reviews (at least the ones in English), one of them doesn't like the color, another says it's not as heat tolerant as other PETG, and the last one says it de-laminates easily.

The color review may be due to print speed, and also due to it supposedly being matte finish. I didn't even know matte PETG was a thing since it's typically very glossy, so I'm not sure how Jayo is making this happen without altering the PETG mixture. I know that some PETG will transition to a matte finish pretty quick when you're really pushing print speed, so maybe they expect you to print it fast to achieve that effect.

The poor heat tolerance complaint could be due to this being a "high speed" PETG and not just standard PETG. I suspect there are some additives or changes necessary to get this stuff to flow and print at higher speeds, and that may have a negative effect on the glass transition temp of the final prints.

Personally, I've never found PETG to be all that great in high temperature environments. It's better than PLA but considerably worse than ABS, ASA or PA6. The advantage is that PETG is much easier to print with, especially without an enclosure, and it's less toxic than the other alternatives.

None of the PETG I've ever printed has been the high speed variety, so I usually max my volumetric flow rate on PETG to something like 12-14mm/s. I've never had issues with PETG and de-lamination, and in fact I feel like PETG's layer adhesion strength is second only to TPU.

Thanks you just set a range for the values and it's automatically modifying that as it wants or something? I just specify the actual numbers

Toggle the advanced button and plug in the numbers. Make sure temp is 240 for both initial and other layers

They supposedly use shorter-chain polymer in high-speed filament because it's less viscous. It's lower-quality material, but easier to print at high speeds. I've never personally tried high-speed PETG, so I wouldn't know how the theoretical sacrifice would translate to practical outcomes. In my opinion, if I'm choosing PETG over PLA for heat resistance and layer adhesion, I wouldn't want to compromise by using the high-speed stuff.
