Hopefully when the new one comes this week, this model will hit the 300 sweet spot.

New one is square and larger. Hold out to compare with the DJI Nano

Be aware the maker force you to used their apps. You have to provide them with your personal information.

The apps control everything and also gives the company a way to remotely disable the camera temporarily or permanently.

Can you elaborate? I think it has an USB-C port and you can just connect it to PC? Given that you can also change the camera settings from the touch screen, isn't the phone app completely optional?

FYI - You need to install the app and agree to limited lic to use it. Might be fine now activated' but maybe more permissions then you really want. Companies US China and others now like to reach out and remote feature or just turn off.

We might have limited options but just FYI. This is not for your benefit to just turn on the camera. Sure you need the app anyway but...

I think DJI, GoPro also ask you to connect to the smartphone app upon first run, seems to be a common practice.
