ive heard good things about the 406v so i recommend getting that one. If you want something better than that then you would probably go straight for the retroid pocket 5 or retroid pocket flip 2. Or another option would be to wait for the retroid pocket 6.
Consider which PS2/GC titles you are interested in playing. If JRPG heavy, get the Classic as you won't miss the joystick.
I have the 405v which looks really similar and don't like it at all. I don't have huge hands and the rear buttons are so cramped to reach they're basically useless. If you're planning to play games that use them a lot I would consider something else. it's good quality construction and works well, but isn't very comfortable to use
especially when vertical consoles are much less ergonomic than horizontal
get the 406h if you plan on playing PS2
