I got this deal last time around ~3 weeks ago maybe? I purposely left them outside with spackle, cement and other repair stuff on and haven't rusted.

The negative? The blades aren't straight/level so when trying to feather in that nice smooth texture it's just not the greatest.

Perfect for that throw away, disposable I don't care I need it once set.

Don't cheap out if you are drywalling. These can be OK for scraping, if they are thick enough. Drywall, taping, and spackle is already a frustrating job for home owners, bad tools will make you punch a new hole in the wall.

I acquired those in 2024 and I have used them a lot during renovation. The putty knives listed here are not of good quality. They may get the job done, but the handles of some of mine are falling apart now. I decided to buy a higher-quality product (Level 5)

Was looking at harbor freight for Quinn set for price comparison and found exactly the same set as OP at AliExpress.

Search for "2/3/4/5 Inch Stainless Steel Putty Knife Scraper Shovel" on AliExpress and you can see it range from $1.6 to 3.xx.

Quinn set from HF should be about same price as this after the 30% off under $10 coupon and should be better build. I have a set and still working.

I bought these the last time around and I must say they are of high-quality and very sturdy yet flexible enough for a fine putty work.

Looking at these head-on, I thought it was a gaggle of ducks.

Bought these a few weeks back and 2 of them broke within an hour. The handles just slide out. It might be worth $7 but that's the level of quality you get.

For $7 on sale, you can get the Quinn set from Harbor Freight with a lifetime warranty, which is easy to use when you need it.

For drywall work, just look for solid stainless with a heavy rubber handle. Start with a good 6" and 10" and then fill in based on the space youre in (lots of long stretches of wall and you want a 10 and 12, lots of inner corners and you want a dedicated corner tool) I did a whole basement with a set of Husky knives and they cleaned right up after and still look good as new. Can bring myself to throw them away even though this is the last big drywall project im ever doing lol.

That's what i'm talkin about man, it sounds stupid, but i'd much prefer this to be a buy it for life thing. I'll use it once, but I know with a daughter there will be many, many more holes in the wall lol.

Thanks!
