Just buy and cancel the flight within 24 hours. I did the famous Lax - LAS for $16.

Avoid it like plague. Worst airline ever.
Terminal crew is straight out of Popeyes Chicken.
If you didn't have any previous bad experience then it's a miracle. Luck will eventually run out.
Never buy for family trips. Will assign kids solo seats.

I had Frontier DEN membership years ago, and it still bothers me! I cancelled that membership years ago, still it NEVER cancelled it for me although every time I called they said they have cancelled it, again and again, each year, they still charge my credit card for membership fee even if I changed the card number. So I had to dispute it every year with the credit card company for years. And I had to call them again and again, and they even couldn't locate my information so no way they can help anymore. Eventually the credit card company blocks the charge permanently which relieves me.

Did this yesterday and my account never reflected the discount den membership in the profile area. Guess I'll cancel the flight and try again.

Do your self a favor and visit the Frontier forum on Reddit before your decide to book with them.

Frontier cancels a higher percentage of flights than any major US airline in 2024. You were 2.8x more likely to be canceled on Frontier than Southwest in 2024. Further other airlines offer a lot more options whereas Frontier only flies some routes a few times a week.

Bottom line:

Frontier has highest cancellations as a percentage of flights in 2024, 2.8x more than fewest

Frontier has most complaints per passenger to the DOT in 2024, 15.5x more than fewest

Frontier has most delays as a percentage of 2024 flights, over 30%, almost 2x best airline

Frontier bumps the most passengers of any airline in 2024 - 3.3x more than the next worst airline!

Booking the $16 flight with free Den membership signs you up for auto renewal of membership. If you try to remove the payment method / card or cancel the discount den - it seems like immediate cancel (and not cancel after expiry). I've never flown frontier, but thought I could fly them for their ATL Costa Rica nonstop.. but I would rather not deal with their auto renewal if I may never fly them.

I signed up for one way flight and nothing is showing up for free den membership. How do I get that or do I need to reach out to support

This is the main thing with Frontier. You better be flexible and have a plan B. The rest of the complaints are idiots who want amenities for a $16 ticket. I fly frontier all the time.

Is this deal worth? I purchased the Discount den and I see the discount Den in my profile. I went back and created a 1 adult and 1 10 year old as a new booking and the total ticket price coming TOTAL PAYMENT DUE - $31.96.

US1 - U.S. Transportation Tax-$0.10

ZP - U.S. Domestic Flight Segment Tax-$10.40

AY1 - U.S. Passenger Security Fee-$11.20

XF - Los Angeles, Ca (LAX) Passenger Facility Charge-$9.00

TOTAL PAYMENT DUE- $31.96

If I select 1 Adult the total price is $16.

trying to do the same and keep getting the below error, any clue what this means? All info was correct and prepopulated based on my login info

There's a little more to the fine print than OP mentions, though you can see it in one of the images. "Buy by 8/19/25. Fly 9/2/25 - 9/30/2025."
