Interested in this but says it doesn't support Smartthings yet.

This is quite opposite : Smartthing DOES NOT support certain devices. According to info on their webiste :
"SmartThings doesn't support the necessary command classes to support advanced Z-Wave devices such as this one, Zooz is working on a custom driver which will be released soon"
Smartthings is behind the technology , but advertised as 'universal' . Good for simple devices and not sophisticated smart home indeed, while controlling most advance devices is not possible. Unless special drivers issued by developers and loaded by user. I do not install this hub anymore for my customers, unless someone really want it.

You're right. I was just minimizing typing. Same result for me.

I made the switch to home assistant and never looked back! I have a mini PC and I put a dongle that does both the Z-Wave and zigbee on it and have never been happier. even my Moen flow device is supported by it so I can finally capture all the water usage data historically. I was nervous to get started, but I'm here to tell you that's the way to go. I can even control my govi lights remotely via the network with it. there are lots of great tutorials on setting it up. then just migrate a few devices at a time from smartthings, I promise you won't regret it!

I just wish free shipping was less than $99. I don't need any more zwave stuff at the moment, but would love to integrate this audio device.

If you go into the installation for smartthings, it says it has a custom driver. I have no idea if it unlocks all of the features or not though.

SAME, and I am so glad I made the switch. Smart things was great before killed the innovation. Home assistant running on a small mini pc is same cost as smart hinges box, but much more feature rich

They sure are stubborn, aren't they? And greedy.

Meantime, their retirement home community are stubborn about SmartThings, failing to accept that it dominates the HA space completely.
